Trash Service
Republic Services provides waste collection services to the City of Clarendon. They provide non-hazardous solid waste services for commercial, municipal and residential customers. For questions regarding trash and waste service, please call City Hall at 806-874-3438.
You can put almost anything in a dumpster, but that doesn't mean you should. There are a few items you can't throw out in a dumpster due to safety hazards and local restrictions. Most trash and debris, when properly bundled and/or contained properly, can be disposed of on your regular garbage service days. If you're not sure if you can put a particular item in a dumpster, check the list below or call the City:

Shrink Wrap Mattresses and Furniture
General Office Waste Refrigerator/AC Unit (no freon)
Paint Cans (completley dry with lids removed) Paint Cans (with liquids and/or lids on)
General Household Trash Electronics and Appliances
Clothes (consider donating) Drums/ Barrels
Grass Clipping (bagged) Brick, Woods, and Concrete
Small Batteries (not vehicle) Railroad Ties
Tires, Oil and Tree Limbs
None of these are accepted in the roll-off box. To dispose of tires or oil, please contact the City at the Recycling Center 806-874-3730 during the hours of Monday-Friday 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays closed.
